INGREDIENTS
* 1 mango – peeled, seeded and cubed
* 1 tablespoon white sugar
* 2 tablespoons honey
* 1 cup nonfat milk
* 1 teaspoon lemon juice
* 1 cup ice cubes

DIRECTIONS
- In a blender, put mango, sugar and honey. Pour in milk and lemon juice then puree until smooth.
- Put ice cubes in two glasses and pour in the smoothie. Serve.
- Makes 2 servings.

1 cup frozen strawberries
1 banana
1/3 cup honey
1 cup skim or nonfat milk

- Put all the ingredients in a blender. Puree until smooth and serve.
- Makes 2 servings.

Here’s a tip to make an easier and more enjoyable blending for this recipe. Add the honey as instructed or last in order to avoid it from clogging the blade.

INGREDIENTS
1 chopped banana
150gms natural yoghurt
1 teaspoon of honey
150mls milk
large pinch of ground cinnamon

DIRECTIONS
- Put all the ingredients into a blender but not including the honey. Puree until smooth. Add honey and pulse for a few times then pour into a glass.
- If preferred, top smoothie with sprinkle of cinnamon. Serve.
- Makes one serving.

INGREDIENTS
1 1/4 cups plain low fat yoghurt
1 pound ripe peaches, peeled, pitted, sliced
2 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
1/4 cups honey
1/4 tsp. vanilla extract

DIRECTIONS
- Divide 1 cup yoghurt among 8 sections of ice cube tray.
- Freeze until yoghurt cubes are solid, at least 4 hours.*
- Puree peaches with lemon juice in processor or blender.
- Add remaining 1/4 cups yoghurt, honey and vanilla.
- Process until mixture is well blended.
- Add frozen yoghurt cubes and process until mixture is smooth and frothy.
- Pour into chilled tall glasses and serve.
- Option: * It can be prepared 1 day ahead, keep frozen.

2 1/2 cups honeydew melon

1 cup frozen raspberries
1 cup cold skim milk

6 – 8 crushed ice cubes

- Place berries and 1/2 cup milk in blender.
- Blend on high for one minute until smooth.
- Add remaining milk, yoghurt, honey, banana and vanilla.
- Beat for another minute.
- Add crushed ice cubes.
- Blend slowly until smooth.
- Serve immediately.
